Toshiba-Satellite-T235D-S1345-CNET.jpg

CNET have published a review of the Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345 (black) notebook. 'The weight and battery life on this ultraportable 13-incher are superior to many standard 13-inch machines, but it comes at the same performance cost as the other Satellite T135 models had. The T235D still lacks an optical drive, and it's no longer quite the thinnest machine around; in fact, for only a few hundred more, the $829 Toshiba Portege R705-P25 offers a lighter chassis, a Core i3 processor, and a DVD-burning optical drive. However, if it's an all-around thin machine you're looking for at a price that's reasonable, the T235D-S1345 can handle a lot more than a Netbook can, and with a more ergonomic design.'

Toshiba-Portege-M780-S7230.jpg

CNET have published a review of the Toshiba Portege M780-S7230 convertible tablet notebook. 'The Portege M780 favors physical buttons and wheels over function-key combos--there's a volume wheel on the front edge, but it has no max/min cut-offs and will spin infinitely until the on-board volume maxes. A row of confusing and small identical buttons below the convertible swivel-screen control power, screen orientation, and even includes an odd mini joystick for repositioning and minimizing open windows. It would have made more sense to convert this stick into a trackpoint. To its credit, however, the old-fashioned and spill-resistant tapered keyboard on the M780 was one of the more comfortable typing experiences among recent laptops. Its key presses were slightly soft, but the key shape and positioning was generous and spacious.'

Toshiba-Tecra-M11-11M-IT-Reviews.jpg

IT Reviews have published a review of the Toshiba Tecra M11-11M notebook. 'While the processor isn't short on power, the same can't be said for the laptop's 3D credentials. With only the integrated graphics chipset to call on, the Tecra M11 certainly won't thank you for running 3D games; again, this highlights the fact that this laptop is aimed at the corporate sector. In PCMark05, the Tecra managed to pick up a very respectable overall score of 6,790 with 8,138 in the CPU section. Unsurprisingly, it didn't do so well in PCMark05's Graphics test, with a score of 2,904.'

Toshiba-Satellite-M505-MobileTechReview.jpg

MobileTechReview have published a review of the Toshiba Satellite M505 notebook. 'We take a look at the Toshiba Satellite M505-S4020 Touch edition in this review. The Satellite M505 runs on the Intel Core i3-330M processor at 2.13GHz with 3MB L3 cache. The notebook has 4GB (3.8GB available to user) 1066MHz DDR3 memory, integrated Intel GMA HD graphics, and a 500GB SATA hard drive. The notebook has a SuperMulti DVD burner with Labelflash, built-in Wi-Fi, an HDMI port and a media card reader. The Satellite M505 comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS and Toshiba's own software.'

Toshiba-Tecra-A11-ChannelWeb.jpg

ChannelWeb have published a review of the Toshiba Tecra A11 notebook PC. 'The Toshiba Tecra A11 came to the CRN Test Center lab with an Intel (NSDQ:INTC) Core i7-620M, dual-core processor at 2.66GHz, 4 GB of memory and a 320-GB HDD. It was preloaded with Windows XP Professional 32-bit. Using Primate Labs' Geekbench 2 benchmarking software, the Tecra A11 scored a rating of 4,706 -- making it the highest-performing dual-core CPU system we've ever evaluated in the CRN Test Center lab. Performance, frankly, just felt much faster than other notebook systems.'

Toshiba-Satellite-T130-Reg-Hardware.jpg

Reg Hardware have published a review of the Toshiba Satellite T130 notebook. 'Like the Air, the T130 dispenses with an optical drive and makes use of ultra-low voltage processors, ranging from the feeble Pentium SU2700 and Core 2 Solo SU3500 - single-core stuck-in-the-muds both - to the more sprightly, dual-core Pentium SU4100 and Core 2 Duo SU7300, which is the one we have here. Integrated graphics are standard across the line: Intel's GMA 4500MHD doing the honours - if you can use that word with a graphics core that delivers a 3DMark06 score of just 590. So no serious gaming on this boy, but it plays 1080p HD video with no difficulty.'

Toshiba-Satellite-T110-10R-NoteBook-Check.jpg

A review of the Toshiba Satellite T110-10R subnotebook has been posted over at NoteBook Check. 'The Satellite is equipped with plenty of software ex-factory. Windows 7 Home Premium as the 64 bit alternative is used as the operating system. Aside from Windows, Microsoft Home and Student 2007 (60 day trial version), Microsoft Works, McAfee Internet Security (free updates for 30 days), a game collection, the Google Pack, Connectivity Doctor, Chicony Camera Software and a row of Toshiba Software are pre-installed. It's recommendable to uninstall the unnecessary programs because the booting time is affected by them.'

Toshiba-Satellite-T135D-Notebook-Review.jpg

Notebook Review have published a review of the Toshiba Satellite T135 13-inch notebook. 'The Toshiba Satellite T135-series notebooks are stylish ultraportables that look like previous 13-inch Toshiba notebooks, but in a much thinner and lighter chassis. Toshiba keeps the profile only a fraction of an inch thicker than the USB ports on the side of the notebook, though this is done in large part by cutting out things like an ExpressCard slot and optical drive. For the average user this notebook has all the advantages of a standard computer--a high resolution display, a full-size keyboard and a dual-core processor--but none of the bulk. The black color scheme on our T135D looks nice, although the red exterior of the Intel-based T135 was a nice change of pace.'

Toshiba-Portege-T110-CNETAsia.jpg

CNET Asia have published a review of the Toshiba Portege T110 (Pentium ULV SU2700 Processor 1.3GHz, 1GB RAM) notebook. 'The look and feel of the T110 is nearly identical to the T130 line of Toshiba Portege thin-and-lights we've already reviewed in several iterations: very glossy plastic surrounds the outer and inner surfaces, highlighted with chrome lines on the edges. From a short distance it's a great look, but up close the faint checkered pattern and fingerprint-showcasing design make it look a little cheap and plasticky. It is, however, a very comfortably sized laptop to pick up and hold in one hand, managing a size and shape very similar to the Lenovo IdeaPad S12.'

Toshiba-Satellite-P505-S8010-LaptopMag.jpg

Laptop Magazine have published their review of the Toshiba Satellite P505-S8010 notebook. 'Measuring 17.4 x 11.6 x 1.6 inches and weighing a hefty 8.6 pounds, the P505 isn't a notebook designed for the coffee shop. However, this attractive machine will look great sitting on a desktop or entertainment center thanks to the Fusion Finish in Sonic Black design. The system features an eye-catching glossy coating that extends from the lid to the bezel, keyboard, and base (the latter incorporates subtle arcing white lines that cut through the black).'
