Laptop Magazine have published a review of the Getac V100 ultraportable laptop. 'The Getac V100 wouldn't look out of place on a factory floor or on a mountaintop in Afghanistan. This fully rugged notebook is constructed from a gun-metal gray magnesium alloy ringed with black rubber bumpers, and hardy plastic ridges are everywhere. Weighing 6.2 pounds and measuring 11.2 x 8.7 x 1.9 inches, the Getac V100 is technically an ultraportable, though it's on the chunky side, especially considering its relatively small 10.4-inch screen. It's heavier than the similarly sized Panasonic Toughbook 19 (5 pounds), and certainly heftier than the larger, but more lightly armored, Toughbook C1 (3.7 pounds).'

Notebook Review have published a review of the Getac B300 Core i7 rugged notebook. 'Build quality is fantastic, exactly what you would expect from a notebook designed for military and law enforcement environments. Every single feature down to the touchpad buttons has been designed to withstand impacts or water infiltration without skipping a beat. All ports are covered and sealed through the use of rubber caps or hinged panels to keep out dust and water. The battery and hard drive are accessible without the use of a screwdriver, having only a locking quick release panel covering them for swapping in the field. Even the fingerprint scanner has its own cover to keep it clean and waterproof when not in use.'
