Kohjinsha SH6WP10A Reviewed

Kohjinsha-SH6WP10A.jpg

A review of the Kohjinsha SH6WP10A ultraportable has been posted over at Notebook Review. ‘This little computer can either be bought in white or black, both of them look really nice. In my case, it's white. When you hold the laptop, you can kind of feel that this thing is really built quite nicely. It's definitely light. In fact, if you put it on your lap, you might even forget that it's there! This computer is so small, it fits really nicely in just one hand. The screen LCD is pretty thick so no ripples can be seen if you push on the lid. If you touch the screen in the up position, it doesn't wobble at all. Twisting the frame turns it into a Tablet PC, so go ahead and twist away, that's what it's designed for. The laptop is mostly made of plastic except for the metal hinge part that allows you to turn your screen into a Tablet PC. Though it's made of plastic, it feels extremely solid.’

Evesham Prestige VP Plus Review – IT Reviews

Evesham-Prestige-VP-Plus.jpg

A review of the Evesham Prestige VP Plus desktop PC has been posted over at IT Reviews. ‘The machine is based around an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 processor, which has two cores running at 1.8GHz and 2MB of L2 cache. Couple this with 1GB of main memory and you have a PC that's more than capable of running most modern business applications. Graphics output is provided by an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3000 chip on the motherboard, which won't break any records for 3D performance but is enough for typical 2D applications up to the Photoshop level. The picture is delivered to the aforementioned Cibox monitor; not a particularly well known name. This example gives a good, sharp picture, though, and is easy to set up and adjust.’

Review: Evesham Voyager C515SR - IT Reviews

Evesham-Voyager-C515SR.jpg

A review of the Evesham Voyager C515SR laptop has been posted over at IT Reviews. 'In terms of design, the C515SR isn't going to win any prizes for originality as it has a traditional silver casing, conventional black keyboard and work surface and measures 359 x 255 x 36mm. It isn't bristling with peripherals either, having four USB 2.0 ports, a Dual Layer DVD-RW drive, VGA connection, Ethernet port and Express card. There is, however, a handy built-in media card reader (SD/MS/MS Pro/MMC formats).'

Evesham Zieo N500-HD – Trusted Reviews

Evesham-Zieo-N500-HD.jpg

Trusted Reviews have published a review of the Evesham Zieo N500-HD notebook. ‘The Evesham Zieo N500-HD conforms to the Centrino Duo certification, and pleasingly is the first notebook we've seen to feature a Turbo Memory module – in this case a 1GB one. As a result there's been a fair amount of extra testing to do, since we've tested this system with Turbo Memory enabled and disabled to get an idea of how/if it performs. Later on I'll also be taking a look at whether it improves system boot-up speed, one of the mooted improvements it should provide.

Evesham Solar 8600GTS desktop PC – Personal Computer World

Evesham-Solar-8600GTS.jpg

Personal Computer World have published a review of the Evesham Solar 8600GTS desktop gaming PC. ‘Evesham's Solar 8600GTS desktop PC contains Nvidia's new mid-range Geforce 8600GTS card that costs a shade over £100 when bought separately. Like the rest of Nvidia's 8000-series cards, it supports Microsoft's DirectX 10 graphics specification, which should eventually result in glossier and more detailed looking games than DirectX 9 software. Windows Vista Home Premium comes preinstalled, which is essential to take advantage of this card since DirectX 10 in a Vista-exclusive standard.’

Evesham Solar Storm 731- Trusted Reviews

Evesham-Solar-Storm-731.jpg

Trusted Reviews have published their review of the Solar Storm 731desktop PC which is Evesham's first Vista system. 'The Solar Storm 731 is a mid-range desktop PC that looks to be a jack of all trades but master of none. Equipped with a 2.3GHz Core 2 Duo, a 320GB hard drive, dual DVB TV tuner card, nVidia GeForce 7900 GS and monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers, this is a perfect system for a student or an all-in-one PC for the family. Coming in at £999 it won’t break the bank either. It ships with Vista Home Premium which, as you may have guessed from the inclusion of a TV card, includes Media Center as well as the new Aero interface and all the other goodies that Jon talks about in his full Vista review.'

Bios Magazine.co.uk: Evesham Voyager C545 UMPC Review

Evesham Voyager C545.jpg

Bios Magazine reviews the Evesham Voyager C545 laptop which possesses the features and capabilities of the more popular brands. 'Evesham Technology, the UK-based PC manufacturer, has added to its range of ultra-portable laptops with the Voyager C545, a relatively low-priced system which combines plenty of power and portability. The only ‘downside’ is that its design is a little bland - especially compared to Dell and Sony’s latest offerings. Weighing a mere 2.2kg (338x247x36mm) and packed with the latest technology, the two-tone grey Voyager C545 may be the ideal solution for taking work and play on the move if you’re not bothered about a big-brand system.
