Hardware Heaven have published a review of the Acer Revo Mini PC.. 'It is clear that when designing the Revo Acer were looking to create a machine which would fit in well with the users other living room devices such as set-top boxes and as a result it looks rather like a DVD or Blu-Ray player. Interestingly though, at 25.4x30x18cm it is actually more compact than most players. Along the front we have a slim line optical drive, drive LED, USB port, card reader and on button with the power LED located on the top right corner. A volume dial can be seen at the bottom left and this actually forms part of a key Revo feature, a removable touch keyboard but more on that later.'

Dev Hardware have published a review of the Acer Aspire G5900-U3092 Predator and the Lenovo IdeaCentre A700-40244CU. 'The G5900-U3092 Predator's performance is powered by a 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7-870 processor with 8 MB of L3 cache. The quad-core processor gives the desktop solid performance on its own, but compared to other gaming desktops in its class, the Predator falls behind a bit. Regardless, it can handle all of your common tasks, such as Internet browsing, document and media editing, as well as gaming. The four cores also help when running multiple tasks simultaneously. Additional multitasking help comes via 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM.'

Dev Hardware have published a review of the HP TouchSmart 310z and Acer Aspire Z5700-U3112 desktop PCs. 'The base configuration of the TouchSmart 310z that costs $699.99 comes with a 2.8 GHz AMD Athlon II 240e processor with 2MB of L2 cache. The processor's dual cores help when you want to run multiple applications simultaneously. Do not expect a ton of fast performance from this configuration, however. It will suffice for common tasks like Internet browsing, instant messaging, document editing, and multimedia. More intense tasks, such as media editing, may cause some performance hiccups. You can upgrade the processor on HP's website, as well as many other components, but that will cause the base price to balloon in a hurry. Extra multitasking help comes from 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM.'

PC Advisor have published a review of the Acer Aspire X3900 desktop PC. 'The Acer Aspire X3900 has a mini-ITX form factor, and the cabinet measures 265x100x352mm: significantly smaller than your traditional desktop PCs, even smaller than the HP Compaq dc5800s. The Aspire X3900's cabinet doesn't weigh too much and it can be easily carried around in one hand. The X3900's cabinet has an all-black exterior and it comes with a cabinet lock to prevent access to its innards. Acer has done a good job with distributing ports around the X3900 cabinet's front and back.'
